Thomas Williams - Chairman

Thomas served 25 years in the Army 3rID and retired in 2014 as a SSGT. He currently volunteers with outreach through his church and is an acting member of the American Legion Post #107 in Westminster, SC and serves as their 1st Vice Commander. He works with the West Oak JROTC as a mentor and is an ordained minister working on a degree in Christian Counseling and also does work with Veterans outreach. He has 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter.

Larry Jones - Vice Chairman

Larry served 26 year in the Navy and retired in 2004 as an Electrician's Mate Master Chief Petty Officer. He is currently employed by CBRE at the Clarios Battery Facility in West Union, SC as the FM Engineering Operations Manager. He was also past Commander of VFW Posts in Glenwood, IA and Walhalla, SC. He is a current member of the VFW Post #6830, Fleet Reserve Branch #15 and the Seneca AL Post #120.

Joyce Jones - Secretary/Treasurer

Joyce served 28 years in the Navy Reserve and retired in 2004 as a Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman (HCMS). She moved to Seneca in 2019 after retiring as a LPN for the State of IA. She is married with 4 children and blessed with 7 grandchildren. She is a current member of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch 015 in Walhalla and Chair of the Americanism-Patriotism Essay Contest which is open to all students grade 7-12 and kicks off each September at the local level. She also volunteers at Wild Hearts Equine Therapeutic Center, Inc. in Seneca and enjoys being an integral part of the enriching experience of the client and horse through mindful thinking.

Jerry Dyar - Public Relations

Jerry served 2 years in the Army in the Military Police Corps as well as 2 years in the Army reserves on active duty and 2 years on inactive duty. He graduated from Southern Business University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Tri County Tech with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. Currently he is in his 31st year as the Director of the Oconee County Veterans Affairs Office and has been associated with WGOG radio for 25 years. Served as a Council member for 7 1/2 years on the Oconee County Council with 4 years as Vice Chairman and 4 years on the Oconee County School Board with 2 years as Vice Chairman. He is married with 2 children, a member of College Street Baptist Church and is an Ordained Deacon. He is also a member of the VVA and AL Post #124 where he served as commander for two terms.
